HDKI GB National Kumite Squad Training

National Squad Training Dates:
– Sunday 31st August 2025 – Kumite Squad (All) – Venue: Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre, Main Hall (11:30-14:30)

– Saturday 6th September 2025 – Kata Squad (North) – Venue: Brigshaw High School (Gymnasium), Brigshaw Drive, Castleford, WF10 2HR (11:00-14:00)

– Sunday 19th October 2025 – Kata Squad (All) – Venue: Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre, Main Hall (11:30-14:30)

Selections to represent HDKI GB are made from those attending and training on the HDKI GB National Squad sessions. Only those selected from the HDKI GB National Squad will be eligible to compete at International events.

If you are unable to attend a National Squad training session please advise one of the National Squad Coaches.

The National Squad is open to HDKI members, aged 8 years and above, minimum grade 6th kyu.

Anyone wishing to attend National Squad Training must have their Instructor’s permission to attend and must hold a valid HDKI Licence.

We encourage anyone who has an interest in competing, and meets the eligibility criteria, to attend the National Squad training sessions.
