National Squad Training dates:

Sunday 21st January - Kumite Squad - Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre, Studio 2
23rd or 24th March 2024 - Kata Squad (North) - Venue TBC
Sunday 21st April 2024 - Kumite Squad - Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre, Main Hall
Sunday 9th June 2024 - Kata Squad - Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre, Main Hall
Sunday 7th July 2024 - Kumite Squad - Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre, Main Hall

South Kata Squad Dates & Venues TBC

The Squad is currently preparing for the 2024 HDKI Ireland Championships, Dublin, 19th May 2024 and the HDKI International Cup, Dublin, 20th - 22nd September 2024.

Selections to represent HDKI GB are made from those attending and training on the HDKI GB National Squad sessions.

Only those selected from the HDKI GB National Squad will be eligible to compete at International events.

If you are unable to attend a National Squad training session you must advise one of the National Squad Coaches.

The National Squad is open to HDKI members, aged 8 years and above, minimum grade 6th kyu.

Anyone wishing to attend National Squad Training must have their Instructor’s permission to attend and must hold a valid HDKI Licence.

We encourage anyone who has an interest in competing, and meets the eligibility criteria, to attend the National Squad training sessions.
