HDKI GB National Squad Training - Kumite Only Session

08.01.23: Please note this session will now be a kumite only session. Training times and venue remain the same.

The session will be split, the first part will focus on Shobu Ippon and the the second part Shobu Sanbon.

Two separate kata only sessions are currently being arranged, one in the North and one in the South. These sessions will take place in February 2023, details will be available shortly.

Selections to represent HDKI GB are made from those attending and training on the HDKI GB National Squad sessions. The Squad is currently preparing for the 2023 HDKI Ireland Championships, May 2023 and the WUKF World Championships, July 2023.

National Squad Training dates: Sunday 22nd January 2023 Sunday 12th March 2023 Further 2023 dates to be confirmed

If you are unable to attend a National Squad training session you must advise one of the National Squad Coaches.

The National Squad is open to HDKI members, aged 8 years and above, minimum grade 6th kyu. 

Anyone wishing to attend National Squad Training must have their Instructor’s permission to attend and must hold a valid HDKI Licence.

We encourage anyone who has an interest in competing, and meets the eligibility criteria, to attend the National Squad training sessions.
